Although Kaghan Valley has always been dearer to me than Swat, to tell you the truth, Mahodand Lake in the Swat Valley, Pakistan, can be compared to Saiful Malook Lake in Naran, Pakistan.
Full of Beauty: Mahodand Lake, Swat in Comparison to the Most Famous Saiful Malook Lake
In fact, the Mahodand Lake is in no way inferior to the most famous Saiful Malook in terms of beauty. Both are full of beauty.
Saiful Malook changes many colours throughout the year, and for me, its most beautiful face is seen during the beginning of the snowmelt. As far as Mahodand Lake is concerned, its beauty is especially worth seeing in the summer.
Road to Mahodand Lake, Swat
The lake is not too far from Kalam Valley and is relatively easy to reach. It would be a transgression not to visit here while exploring Kalam Valley. If you see the sun of a new day rising from the mountains of Kalam, make a journey towards the lake. During the rainy season, the road can be bad and dangerous.
On the way from Kalam Valley to Mahodand and beyond, you will see beautiful views, and then you will exclaim that this was the destination we were looking for. You will be mesmerized by the colourful umbrellas as well as canopies amidst the tall trees while passing through the forest. These attractive and amazing colours will colour your life!

Mahodand Lake is a place where flying clouds are usually seen. If you look up, you will see mountains, clouds, and trees, while below you will see their reflection in the water of the lake.
By the way, trout fish can be found in many places in Swat; however, the fun of eating while enjoying the views after catching fresh fish from the lake can be something else. In summary, if you go to Kalam, you must see Mahodand Lake.
